The aim of this course is to provide delegates with an understanding of the types of spills typically encountered within an ELV or vehicle dismantling operation and their potential environmental impact. The course highlights legal responsibilities in regards to how chemicals are handled in the workplace, as well as how to prevent spillages happening in the first place. Finally, the course provides delegates with knowledge on how to appropriately respond to a chemical spillage (hazardous and non-hazardous) when they do occur.
